About the Group
Changes in the atmosphere can have profound impacts on human health, climate, and the ecosystem. Our research seeks to improve understandings of atmospheric composition in a changing world, its coupled relationship with the climate system and societal choices such as energy, and the use of such understanding to improve model predictive capability and to aid in societal decision-making. To accomplish this research, we use a combination of modeling, observations, and data analysis/mining methods.

Sep 2022: We're hiring two post-doctoral fellows in atmospheric chemistry modeling. See the job description for more details and how to apply.
We always welcome motivated undergraduate and graduate students to join the group! Prior programming experiences are plus but not required. Please contact Dr. Yuxuan Wang (ywang246@central.uh.edu) if you're interested.
Group Leader

Dr. Yuxuan Wang specializes in modeling and data analysis. Her research interests encompass many areas of atmospheric science, with a focus on atmospheric chemistry, extreme events, and climate. She is author of more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
